What is the best route to take driving from Birmingham AL to Pittsburgh PA? Up 65 and over or through Bristol?
Both routes are about the same miles. I'm thinking up 65 through Nashville, Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus is the easiest and most places to stop. But taking the eastern route through the Virginia's is probably more scenic (I don't have much time to stop) Any advice?
the scenic route but, if you are going to go through wv then get gas at the end of virginia. what i mean is that there is nowhere to stop in wv. not even gas stations, the only TOWN we saw was Charleston and the rest was just ALL ENTIRELY MOUNTAINS.
