What did you think of the short Canadian National Railway strike? CNR?
What is your opinion about it. At least it is over now.
I worked for the CNR for 10 years ,that was 30 years ago.Nothing has changed. The unions today aren't trying to get anything from management,they're just trying to keep as much as they can.Concessions,out sourcing ,wage reductions, all the tricks that the leaders of industry are trying to pull on the workers.The CNR will never bargain in good faith with it's employees. They just let the strike happen and wait for the "back to work " legislation. Jobs are abolished work is out sourced to firms paying minimum wage. Repairs and maintenance is deferred .And when a train derails,well it's not the railways fault!
